Sony Admits It’s Having A Difficult Time Gettting Third-Party Support For PlayStation Vita

According to legendary Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto, the PlayStation Vita is a powerful piece of hardware but is struggling with sales because, it lacks software. Sony Computer Entertainment executive Shuhei Yoshida has also claimed that Sony’s latest handheld needs more games.

Sony is apparently trying to convince developers and publishers to bring their games to the PlayStation Vita.

We’re having a more difficult time than we had anticipated in terms of getting support from third-party publishers, but that’s our job.”

We will continue to talk to development communities and publishing partners and tell them why [PlayStation] Vita can provide a great experience for the IPs they have and I hope the Assassin’s Creed game will prove that.”
